The ITLL has two laser cutters: an Epilog Legend 100 Watt, and an Epilog Radius 30 watt. In addition to the ITLL Orientation Tour, you must complete the Introduction to Using Laser Cutters workshop before using these machines. The laser cutters use CorelDraw as the software for communication, but any file with a ".dxf" file format may be imported into CorelDraw.

Approved materials include:

Acrylic, ABS, Delrin, paper (at low power and high speed), and wood (engraving only)

Prohibited materials include:

Polycarbonates, PVC, metals, composites, glass, and reflective material

Check with the module engineer if you have questions about a specific material.
