Building & Tours » Access/Orientation Tour
All CU-Boulder engineering students, staff and faculty may obtain access to the ITL facility and its computer network by attending a 30-minute orientation. Completion of this orientation is mandatory before receiving ITL network and door access.
Sometimes an entire class will take an ITL orientation, scheduled by the professor. Otherwise, you may take an orientation tour Monday - Friday at 5:15pm or Sunday at 1:15pm, meeting ITL LaunchPoint on the top floor. Don't forget to bring your BuffCard.
The 30-minute ITL orientation is an introduction to the ITL Laboratory, its purpose, capabilities and special features. We ask you to complete and sign a contract -- your pledge for responsible behavior and care of the facility for safety and security purposes.
Within 24 hours of completing an orientation tour, you will be emailed your login name, password and PIN number for accessing all ITL networked PCs, sub-rooms (ITLL 150, 160) and building exit doors during the after-hours time periods (hours of operation).
