  What is NCIIA?
Many student teams who create an invention with commercial potential successfully obtain additional development funding from the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) .

The goal of NCIIA's Advanced E-Team Grants program is to provide opportunities for experiential learning through the development and commercialization of new and existing innovations and the creation of products, technologies and businesses. These grants, awarded through the University, support later-stage development of an idea and the commercialization of an idea or concept.

Grant funds may be used for supplies, equipment or expenses related to advanced stages of project development, including legal fees to pursue patents and summer internships. Funded proposals are required to submit a final report at the end of the grant period.
