Computer Care
  • Food ard beverages are not allowed around the computers or computer counters. Please be neat and discard trash immediately. Empty pizza boxes should be placed in the cardboard recycle bin on the ITLL dock (under the bridge).
  • Local hard drives are cleared periodicallly, so store your own files on your ITLL user folder located at Z:\yourlogin.

    Project Work
  • Please do all construction (such as sawing, drilling, painting, etc.) on the butcher-block tables in the lab area --- not in the carpeted area.
  • Use the protective table pads when gluing, cutting and constructing at the lower tables.
  • Anyone using a hand tool must wear safety glasses.

    Clean Up
  • Room tools may not leave the classroom. Please return all tools and supplies to the proper place when work is complete.
  • Put all team project materials away (in lockers or take home) at the end of each class. Anything left out gets tossed.
  • Cleaning supplies are available --- use them if you've created a mess.
  • Please return tables and chairs to original positions.

    Students may NOT use the room when another class is in session.
    Check the weekly schedule posted on the main door before entering!

    General Rules
  • Smart room capabilities are limited to academic use only.
  • Students taking a class in this room may use the computers, tools and space on a drop-in basis only when the room is not reserved for another activity or class.
  • Flagrant refusal to abide by these rules and instructor/TA requests, may impact your grade.
